Living At A Pace of Being Known
“But if anyone loves God, he is known by God.”
(1 Corinthians 8:3, ESV)
Recently the word and concept of “GodSpeed” was introduced to me … and it has really struck a cord. It appealed to my heart. The image of living at Godspeed instead of human speed / God’s speed instead of Ryan’s speed is deeply appealing. This is the slowing down of our lives and hearts and minds to live alongside God as well as those He has placed beside us in life. It is to know and be known; it is to journey together.
This coming Lenten season, you are invited to join with me as we journey further into this concept and practice of living at GodSpeed. We will use a daily personal devotional practice to implant new ways of looking at our life with God and with our neighbours. We will gather weekly to consider further thoughts through a corresponding video series and shared conversation. We will together work to be alert to God and to our parish / community in which we live.
