Moving Forward Together
“Dear brothers and sisters, I close my letter with these last words: Be joyful. Grow to maturity. Encourage each other. Live in harmony and peace. Then the God of love and peace will be with you.”
(2 Corinthians 13:11, NLT)
We are working hard to move through this pandemic together. Our goal is to maintain unity both in what we believe but also relationally. This is proving difficult as we are growing restless with limitations at a church level.
The current health order has been extended until January 31st, 2022. It requires our services to be virtual, and so we continue with that format. While there is room for only vaccinated people to gather, we firmly believe the doors of the church are to be open to all. Because of this belief, we continue to meet virtually. As Elders we are watching the health orders closely and will communicate with you as soon as anything changes.
As Paul calls us in these last words to the Corinthians, let us work to be encouraging and harmonious, even through differences of opinion. May we know the joy, love, and peace of Christ!
