Partnership
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”
(John 15:16, ESV)
While we work hard to be an effective witness for Christ here in Vanderhoof, we partner with many others in Canada and around the world to further God’s work of drawing many to Christ. In these weeks we have had opportunity to meet with existing and potential ministry partners within our Mennonite Brethren family.
Pictured above are missions leaders from Multiply in Thailand and from Westwood Church in Prince George. Over lunch (November 13) we discussed potential ways for us to partner with what God is doing in Thailand but also ways in which we can partner with Westwood. It was exciting to hear Jon and Chaloem’s testimonies and the ways in which God is working in their country.
Tonight we will meet with Tony and Sarah Brown (Multiply missionaries in Panama) and then with our BCMB leaders (BC Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches) for conversation and prayer. Again, our goal is to have a large picture of God’s redemptive work in our world … allowing the Spirit to guide us to the ministries and opportunities He has for us.
Partnership does not always mean we get our way, but it gives opportunity for us to put our resources and efforts together for greater Kingdom impact.
