This has been a meaningful verse for me. It calls each one of us to eagerly and intentionally receive and study the Word of God. It applies to every area of our lives; we believe this firmly and so turn to it daily. We do not just take one person’s interpretation of it but study it together in order to find a joint understanding.

RightNow Media is a resource NCC has that I want to remind you of. What is it you wish you knew more about? What issues of life are you currently struggling with? RightNow Media offers a large library of Christian videos and teaching on a wide variety of topics and the whole of scripture. There may be something there to help you with the questions and situations you are currently facing.

Go to the website and browse the topics and videos. Maybe even sign up for a personal account (free to anyone connected with NCC). Choose a study to take in individually, with your spouse or friend or family, maybe even find a smaller group of people to take it in together.

These videos are not the answer to life’s questions, but they offer teaching, provoke our thinking, and help initiate conversation so we (like the Bereans) can together find our way through life.
